FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS

Three local Soroptimist clubs, Soroptimist International of Grass Valley, Nevada City and Sierra Foothills are offering a unique opportunity for 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls to participate in a day just for them.  It will be held at Sierra College. It will be packed with wonderful experiences along with fun, prizes and a tote bag full of goodies for them to take home.  The program will help them prepare for a smooth transition as they get closer to high school.  There will be opportunities for them to learn about safety on the Internet Highway, healthy food for a healthy look, what life is like and how they can make a difference for young girls in Africa, and a look at fashions presented by high school volunteers.  Date and time will follow.
