Through the Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women, we extend a helping hand to those women who shoulder the primary financial responsibilities within their families. By providing them with the necessary resources to enhance their education, skills, and employment prospects, we enable them to break free from the constraints of their circumstances and pursue brighter futures.

Year after year, Soroptimists International of Grass Valley takes great pride in awarding $2,500 in education grants to deserving women in our community. These women have demonstrated exceptional resilience in overcoming formidable challenges, including poverty, domestic violence, the loss of a spouse, and substance abuse.

What sets this award apart is its often singular role as the sole source of support for recipients, particularly in areas where other granting organizations are absent or inaccessible. The Live Your Dream Awards empower women to realize their educational aspirations and exercise agency over their futures. Whether it's covering the costs of books, tuition, daycare, rent, groceries, or transportation, recipients are given the flexibility to allocate the funds in ways that best serve their needs.

Applications for the Live Your Dream Awards are open from August 1st to November 15th, facilitated through Soroptimist's online Application Portal. This streamlined process ensures that deserving women have ample opportunity to access the support they need to pursue their educational dreams.
